Mr. Elliott recently passed. He was my father’s, Mr. Cornelius Gilling best friend. For many years I remember how they, and other “Giambo, West Indian men them”, celebrated at the drop of a dime. Listening to jazz, and talking about work; Christmas day, WAS AWESOME, boy, they celebrated off the charts. God bless them, and may they rest in peace with God, eternally.
